The Nature of the Gathering

The Purpose:  The purpose of the events panned are to meet with area religious and community leaders in an effort to maximize the number of voters for the 2016 General Election.  Mass Events meetings will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta, where the Rev. Dr. Gaye Ortiz, is the host pastor.

The Mission:  The mission for the Augusta's Interfaith Get Out To Vote 2016 Committee is to try and reach 100% Voter Participation in the 2016 May and November General Elections.

The Strategy:  Use every available means to capture the electorate decision:

1.      Early voting

2.      Absentee Voting

3.      Forums

4.      Telephone Operations

5.      ROBO Calling

6.      Mailing Campaigns

7.      Flyers and Poster Boards - Printing and Distribution

8.      Transportation to the polls earlier and on Election Day

9.      Poll and Precinct Workers

10.   Radio and TV Advertisements - PSA's

11.   Neighborhood Canvassing the Precincts

12.    Motorcade - Rallies - Celebrations
